Waterford

Waterford, the oldest city in Ireland, lies at the east of County Waterford, home of the Waterford Crystal and the Blaa.  Heading west, a cycle along the Waterford Greenway brings  you past the famous Mount Congreve Gardens, on through Kilmacthomas, the heart of the Greenway, continuing over the stunning Viaducts in Kilmacthomas and Durrow, before dismounting as you pass through the eerily lit Ballyvoyle Tunnel, before cycling along the beautiful coastline  on to the bustling seaside town of Dungarvan.

The Comeragh mountains rise majestically to the north of the county, with the magnificent Mahon Falls feeding the Mahon river which sweeps through the Copper Coast  UNESCO Geopark providing a spectacular backdrop to any cycle.
